Smith was in the Dannon TV commercial. Much like many other new actresses choose to pursue, she decided to build her skills in theater. She would work in different USA projects while performing on stage in the company of Wildflower. She attended the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory, part of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
