Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is a child of an ethnically diverse family in South London in England. Her father and mother are both English. She grew up in the south of a London council estate and attended The Brit School at age 14. She graduated with a BA in acting from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. At school, she was a part-time actor in a variety of stage productions including King Henry V's Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe's acting journey began in the series Storm Damage. She has appeared as a guest for Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film role was Woody Allen's 2007 Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. Following this acclaim, she appeared as Elisha in The BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and appeared on six of the episodes Trexx as well as Flipside. In 2008, she got Bambi's part on the ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. The actress was on the series 2 and 3. Madekwe was the main character in the comedy of 2008 How to Alienate and Lose Friends. The credits she has in her theatre work include Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams and Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe officially made her US debut with The Beautiful Life in 2009. The series aired only two episodes at The CW, and was later removed from the air. Ashley Davenport was her role in ABC's drama Revenge. The show premiered in May 2013 and it was announced that Madekwe, who played a regular role in the previous two seasons had decided to quit the show following a guest appearance in the first episode of the season's new episode. On the show Salem the actress played Tituba from 2014 until 2016. Madekwe, along with her boyfriend of many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were wedding in June of 2012. They've collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl in the past, and Goldberg is also a part of the cast on the show Salem.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into a large, extended family. Her parents Roy and Patty and her brothers Brett, Todd, and Bram and Bram, were present. Ashley was raised in the arenas and baseball fields because her brothers, who were all athletic, played baseball, hockey, and both in the spring and summer. Ashley did not walk, but she danced, so at age just two years old, she began Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. Ashley began to be a dancer following this. Ashley was a competitive dancer throughout the various divisions up until her graduation from high school. The competitions she participated in included ballet, jazz, tap, pointe and acrobatics. Additionally, she was awarded best soloist awards at all important dance competitions like the International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more.
