His initial job was to enhance the user experience with The Google search toolbar. It could be utilized with Internet Explorer and Firefox. Furthermore, he was working on a range of Google services like Google Pack, Gadgets, Google Gears, and many others. Sundar became a star in Google's development when he began to work closely with Google's web browser Chrome. It was an remarkable year with Google Chrome being launched and Pichai becoming Vice Director Product Management and Development. By the end of 2012, Pichai was elevated to the rank of Senior Vice President following by the Product Chief of Officer for Google along with Android, the Android Smartphone Operating System.
